MASON
MASON is a 3D-printed modular furniture system designed for brand SLIIT. The system is versatile to create bookshelves, stools, and other furniture pieces like residential to commercial displays.
why modular?
The system’s modular nature allows for flexible reconfiguration, enabling users to adapt the structure and spatial layout to accommodate varying object sizes and functional needs.
mechanism
Each plate features connection points on all four sides, allowing users to insert joints and infinitely expand the structure into endless configurations.
versatility
By designing a system rather than a static piece of furniture, this project allows users to transform and repurpose the structure on demand for various functions.
ICFF launch pad
MASON was developed for the ICFF Launch Pad 2026 exhibition. To respond to the 25 sq ft booth constraint, the system is showcased as a compact shelving unit that illustrates its modular logic and potential to expand into stools, displays, and larger furniture pieces.
